We accomplish our work through partnerships with various groups. Starting in 2005, PACE-Ghana has coordinated and implemented activities with Africa Bound, Beyond Boundaries, First Baptist Church of Syracuse, Fordham University, Le Moyne College, Mission Match, ProLiteracy, Unite for Sight, Worawora DA School. Over 160 individuals have participated through more than 16 trips. We rely on support from individuals, foundations, and funds raised in concert with our partners.

People from around the Syracuse area gathered to raise funds to build a secondary school in Worawora, Ghana. Dancing and drumming were a fun part of the event.
Dancing and drumming were highlights of the Rally for Worawora event – Build a School! Build a Life!

What Our Partners Say…

“Global Outreach at Fordham University has been collaborating with PACE Ghana since 2007. We have developed a strong partnership with PACE Ghana and we feel as though our students grow from their experiences with this organization. I had the opportunity to visit Ghana in 2013 and found it to be one of the most eye opening experiences of my life. Service, cultural immersion, safety, and community are integral to any encounter with PACE Ghana.” – Paul Francis, Director of Global Outreach, Fordham University

“Thanks to PACE-Ghana and its wonderful leadership, nursing students and faculty of the Department of Nursing at Le Moyne College were hosted for two Study Abroad trips to Ghana in January 2013 and January 2014. The Ghanaian people were so welcoming and this cultural immersion opportunity changed our minds and our lives forever. –  Dr. Susan Bastable, Founding Chair and Professor Emeritus,   Le Moyne College, Department of Nursing
