Educational Support – The Okyeame Danwa Community Memorial Library
Okyeame Dankwa Community Memorial Library was the first project Launched by PACE Ghana 2006. It is the only public library in the town of Worawora in eastern Ghana. It provides facilities and resources to the Worawora community to enhance their knowledge. Available reading materials include a daily newspaper, textbooks for secondary school students and a range of other books for toddlers through to adults. A computer learning center was set up in 2016 so that students and adults could learn basic computer skills. The library is staffed six days a week and an average of 75 people including students, children and community members make use of the library each day.
